Join Henstridge Parish Council – Make a Difference in Your Community!

Henstridge Parish Council is seeking two enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join as Parish Councillors. This is your opportunity to play an active role in shaping the future of our village and making a real difference in the lives of local residents.

What does a Parish Councillor do?

As a Parish Councillor, you will:

• Represent the views and interests of the local community.

• Help make decisions on local services, facilities, and projects.

• Work with fellow councillors, residents, and local organizations to improve our village.

• Take part in discussions about planning applications, environmental initiatives, and community events.

Who are we looking for?

We welcome applications from anyone who:

• Is passionate about Henstridge and its future.

• Has a desire to engage with and represent the community.

• Can attend council meetings (usually once a month).

• Is over 18 and lives or works in or near Henstridge.

No prior experience in local government is necessary—just a willingness to learn and get involved. Training and support will be provided.
