We have been made aware over the last few days by many residents that the developers – BDW – have received some deliveries at the above site and have also notified the surrounding properties that they are intending to start works to protect the trees etc on the above site, required by conditions on the outline and reserved matters applications which have been approved. We have also been sent many photographs of the works that have been taking place from residents over the last few days. This is despite the refusal of the application 23/03015/S73 at the Planning Committee on Monday.
This email is to confirm that we are fully aware of the situation, and are currently in dialogue with the developers, as well as seeking legal opinions on the current situation.
I would be grateful if you could pass this information on to your parish councillors, as well as any members of public / interested parties who may contact you about the works, as we are unable to update them all individually. (As you will see, the ward members have been copied into this email, and have also been emailed separately).
We will try to keep the Parish Council updated, but please be aware that this may not be either instantly or regularly as these investigations progress and may take some time.
